Scope and support
Land boundaries are agency map data, not legal surveys, title or ownership records. Wildfire perimeters are provisional and can be hours or days old; each record states its perimeter date. This service is not an evacuation, warning or emergency information source: evacuation orders and warnings come from local officials, county emergency management, local alert systems and the National Weather Service, and emergencies are reported to 911. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Interagency Fire Center or any government agency.
